Key Responsibilities
Own the end-to-end design process across UX and UI, from research and ideation to wireframes, prototypes, and production-ready designs.
Conduct user research, persona development, and journey mapping to deeply understand user needs in the airline or B2B SaaS space.
Translate complex processes (e.g., airline operations workflows, reservation flows, SaaS dashboards) into simple and intuitive experiences.
Design wireframes, interaction flows, and prototypes to communicate ideas and validate solutions.
Create pixel-perfect UI designs, ensuring visual consistency, accessibility, and responsiveness across platforms.
Establish and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides to ensure scalable, cohesive UI patterns.
Collaborate with engineers to ensure designs are implemented accurately and efficiently.
Apply UX best practices to improve usability, adoption, and customer satisfaction.
Partner with product and data teams to conduct usability testing and A/B experiments and iterate designs based on insights.
Balance business goals, technical constraints, and user needs in design decision-making.
Required Skills & Experience
5+ years of UX/UI or Product Design experience, with a strong portfolio showcasing both user experience design and interface design.
Experience in either the airline industry (reservation systems, DCS, operations, NDC retailing) or B2B SaaS platforms (enterprise dashboards, workflow tools, data-driven apps).
Strong expertise in UX disciplines: user research, information architecture, wire framing, prototyping, and usability testing.
Strong expertise in UI disciplines: visual design, interaction design, responsive layouts, typography, color theory, and design systems.
Proficiency with design tools:
Figma (preferred), Sketch, Adobe XD, InVision, or equivalent.
Familiarity with collaboration tools:
Jira, Confluence, Slack, Miro, or similar.
Knowledge of WCAG accessibility standards and inclusive design practices.
Knowledge of frontend development (react, view, angular, etc).
Experience designing for multi-platform products (web, mobile, tablet).
Strong communication and storytelling skills to present design rationale to stakeholders.
Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and collaborate closely with engineers.

Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Design, HCI, Interaction Design, or related field.
Airline tech experience with reservation systems, NDC retailing, crew/ops management, or passenger service systems.
SaaS design experience with enterprise-scale products, multi-role workflows, or API-driven applications.
Experience facilitating design sprints, workshops, and cross-functional ideation sessions.
Experience working collaboratively with customers and cross-functional team members.
Proven history of delivering projects on time.
Working knowledge of delivery management tools such as Trello, JIRA or Asana.
Experience in iterative software delivery methodologies SAFe Agile, SCRUM, etc.
Experience with consumer-facing product design in the ecommerce or retail industry.
