Plant Head– HVAC : Chakan

Market leader in energy efficient Indoor Air Comfort and Critical Air solutions serving a global market is setting up a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Pune. This greenfield facility will play a critical role in delivering cutting-edge products to India and global markets. .

We are seeking an accomplished Plant Head to spearhead the setup, commissioning, and full-scale operations of this upcoming manufacturing unit.

Role Overview

The Plant Head will lead and optimize operations across all manufacturing areas.

This senior leadership role is pivotal in driving operational excellence, accelerating continuous improvement initiatives, managing capital investments, and ensuring strong financial performance. This is a pivotal leadership position requiring strategic, operational, and people excellence.

Key Responsibilities

- Site Leadership & Operational Excellence
- Oversee day-to-day operations of the factory, ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met.
- Lead and develop site leadership teams to foster a high-performance culture.
- Drive lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Own the P&L, ensuring financial targets are achieved.
- Collaborate with global operations leadership to share best practices and drive harmonization across sites.
- Drive statutory compliance for plant construction, safety approvals, and environmental clearances.
- Lead recruitment of the core plant team in partnership with HR and leadership.
- Ensure adherence to global HVAC manufacturing standards and certification norms.
- Oversee Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and product reliability performance.

DESIRED INCUMBENT PROFILE:

- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Industrial, or related engineering discipline.
- MBA/PGDM (Operations/General Management)
- 18 years of experience in manufacturing operations, preferably in HVAC, heavy engineering, capital equipment, or electro-mechanical manufacturing.
- Must have hands-on exposure to Greenfield / Brownfield plant establishment.
