Position Overview
Role Description
The Senior Engineer designs and implements technical solutions and configures applications in different environments in response to business problems. With the partial/ full ownership of Production platforms, Senior Engineer is required to ensure environment stability, expeditious and timely resolution of Production issues, ensuring minimal downtimes and continuity of services. Further the Senior Engineer investigates, proposes and implements various solutions, standardizing where possible, to ensures stability and reliability of the application platforms.
The person performing the role may lead delivery of other members of the team and controls their work where applicable

Your key responsibilities
Good knowledge on GCP including GCO(Google Cloud Operations) suite.
Hands on in defining and creation of CUJ, SLO, SLI, Error Budgeting based on NFR.
Strong Knowledge on IAAC – Terraform, Git Hub, Docker Images
Strong hands on in scripting like Bash, Power Shell, Python, Ansible
Good knowledge on containers like Kubernetes
Design and implementation of automated workflows
Experience of reducing TOIL in an SDLC or IT operations environment
Good understanding of SCM Tools:
Git, Git Hub, Sonar Qube
Hands on experience with ITSM process Problem Management
Incident Response Management:
Quickly detecting, triaging, and resolving outages, often involving participation in on-call rotations, to minimize downtime and business impact
Proactive and analytical mindset
NICE TO HAVE
Fair understanding of build and release tools like Maven, Ant, Gradle, Puppet , Jenkins, Team City, udeploy
Knowledge on Microservices
Any programming languages like Java, Python.
Understanding on CI/CD pipelines
Understanding of architecture and implementation of three tier web applications
