Structural Civil Engineer; Roads O&M

Overview

We are looking for a qualified Structural / Civil Engineer to perform inspections and assessments of civil structures within a road or infrastructure project. The role focuses on evaluating structural integrity documenting defects and recommending maintenance or repair works to ensure safe and reliable operation.

• Conduct field inspections of civil / structural assets such as bridges, culverts, retaining walls, tunnels, underpasses and barriers.
• Identify and document structural defects such as cracks, spalling, corrosion, deformation, settlement, water leakage and joint failures.
• Prepare detailed inspection reports including photographs, measurements, condition ratings and engineering observations.
• Recommend corrective or preventive maintenance actions based on inspection results.
• Support structural condition surveys (RCS) and routine inspections.
• Coordinate with Project Manager, Maintenance Teams and Client representatives.
• Monitor and follow up on corrective maintenance works on site.
• Maintain accurate inspection records, logs and databases.
• Ensure compliance with Ashghal standards, project specifications and HSE requirements.

• Bachelors Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• 58 years of experience in structural / civil inspection (road or infrastructure).
• Overall experience 8-12 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of concrete and structural behavior defects and repair methods.
• Familiarity with O&M projects asset inspection and preventive / corrective maintenance is an advantage.
• Proficiency in report writing and inspection documentation.
• Excellent communication, coordination and teamwork skills.
• Valid Qatar  (transferable) preferred.
• Immediate joiners are an advantage.
