Planning Engineer; Roads O&M

We are looking for a qualified Planning Engineer to support the planning scheduling and monitoring of all activities related to the Structural Maintenance scope within a major Road Operation & Maintenance project. The candidate will be responsible for preparing work programs tracking progress analyzing deviations and ensuring timely execution of maintenance works.

• Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera (P6) or MS Project.
• Prepare weekly monthly and annual maintenance plans (corrective & preventive).
• Coordinate with engineers supervisors and site teams to collect progress data.
• Monitor actual progress vs. planned schedules and identify delays or issues.
• Prepare dashboards KPI reports S-curves histograms and other planning documents.
• Analyze resource requirements (manpower materials equipment).
• Participate in preparing method statements and work programs.
• Support forecasting of material procurement and resource allocation.
• Ensure compliance with client requirements and contract timelines.
• Assist Project Manager with risk analysis planning strategies and corrective actions.
• Maintain documentation and ensure all planning records are updated and accurate

• Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 37 years of experience as a Planning Engineer (O&M or infrastructure preferred).
• Overall experience 7-10 years
• Proficient in Primavera P6 MS Project and MS Excel.
• Knowledge of road / structural maintenance works (bridges culverts walls barriers).
• Strong analytical reporting and coordination skills.
• Experience with Ashghal projects is an advantage.
• Valid Qatar  (transferable) preferred.
• Immediate joiners are an advantage.
