Tax Manager

• Support the Tax Director in managing the Group's overall tax strategy, governance and tax risk framework.
• Provide tax advice on new investments, acquisitions, disposals, restructurings, joint ventures and new business activities
  .
• Advise on international tax structuring
  , including holding, financing and cross-border investment arrangements.
• Work closely with Finance, Legal, Treasury, Investment/M&A and Commercial teams to ensure Tax is involved in transactions and projects at an early stage
  .
• Review major contracts and transactions to identify and mitigate corporate tax, withholding tax, VAT, PE and other tax risks
  .
• Monitor and support implementation of relevant OECD BEPS, Pillar Two and other international tax developments
  .
• Manage tax audits, disputes and interactions with tax authorities, in coordination with local teams and advisers.

Requirements

• 8 + years of relevant tax experience
  , ideally combining Big4 experience with an in-house experience.
• Experience in oil & gas, financial services or investment holding structures would be particularly valuable.
• Bachelor or master’s degrees in Law, Taxation or Finance.
• Strong technical background in international corporate tax and cross-border structuring
  , rather than experience limited primarily to domestic tax compliance
• Transactional tax experience covering M&A, acquisitions/disposals, restructurings, project investments and tax due diligence
  .
• Good understanding of OECD BEPS and Pillar Two requirements and their practical application within multinational groups.
• Fluent English required

  Arabic, Spanish, Russian or other languages relevant to the Group's investment jurisdictions would be an advantage.
