Accounts Payable Agent role at Pomerleau
As an Accounts Payable Agent working in the Operational Support team at Pomerleau Construction, you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth financial operations of the business. Supporting our large-scale building and infrastructure projects – ranging from $1.5 million to upwards of $1 billion – you will have the opportunity to own the accounts payable processes, manage invoice reconciliations and ensure all data is updated within the system.
Whatyou will do
- You’re a master of invoices, reviewing and processing supplier and subcontractor invoices.
- You’re attentive to client communication, managing incoming emails and invoices, ensuring obstacles are resolved efficiently.
- You’re diligent in tracking your invoices in our ERP system.
- You’re meticulously organized in maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- You meet deadlines and strive to be proactive in following up on monthly and final releases, including legal documentation.
- You’re always ready to lend a hand to your teammates, especially the regional manager, when needed.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in accounting and accounts payable.
- A college diploma with a specialization in accounting or relevant professional experience.
- A team spirit and a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
- Previous experience in the construction industry.
- Familiarity with an ERP system.
