Your impact

As a structural technician, you will contribute to the increasing number of projects related to electrical substation structures. You will work on innovative solutions to complex problems, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to design, modify, and oversee projects that enhance citizens' quality of life.

Your daily activities at Stantec

• Develop your career in a friendly, human-centered environment;
• Engage in stimulating work combining technical tasks, design, drawings, and project follow-up;
• Contribute to sustainable energy development as a technician-designer for public and private electricity producers in Québec;
• Influence project direction and participate in all phases of refurbishment, maintenance, and expansion projects, collaborating with engineers and technicians from various disciplines;
• Occasionally visit sites for surveys and work monitoring;
• Participate in the design of civil (structural) projects of various scales;
• Work as part of multidisciplinary teams on diverse projects;
• Assist engineers with design tasks and prepare plans and specifications;
• Act as project lead or discipline supervisor for various projects.
