What you will do:

• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and field surveys to ensure data consistency.
• Perform volume calculations for work progress tracking, payments, and progress reports.
• Process and structure data for 3D machine guidance and positioning systems.
• Prepare layout drawings and technical documents in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Carry out volume calculations for work monitoring or payment purposes.
• Create 3D models of terrain, infrastructure, and layout projects to support technical teams.
• Collaborate with field teams, engineers, and stakeholders to ensure quality and meet deadlines.

This role could be for you if you have:

• Excellent proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong teamwork skills.
• Effective communication abilities with third parties (other teams or stakeholders at Pomerleau and/or the client).
• Strong adaptability in challenging and changing situations, and the ability to work under pressure.

Additional Assets:

• Proficiency with Leica Suite (Infinity, Cyclone 3DR) and/or Trimble Business Center HCE.

As a Calculator within Pomerleau's Surveying Services team, you will be responsible for preparing survey layout data from digital documents. Working on large‑scale construction projects ranging from $1.5 million to over $1 billion, you'll have the opportunity to participate in the bidding process to establish construction volumes.
