Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Verify, amend, and update maintenance line work orders (LWO) and heavy work orders (HWO) as assigned by the ACAs and Crew Chiefs for all aircraft.
- Coordinate and control technical documentation related to aircraft maintenance.
- Assist in the coordination and execution of technical recording of maintenance activities in the ERP system (RAMCO).
- Help plan technical records prior to technical dispatch.
- Assist in troubleshooting technical issues in RAMCO.
- Prepare documentation and technical records to participate in the pre-induction meeting for periodic inspections.
- Follow up and verify maintenance documents and technical records during periodic inspections and for operational aircraft.
- Facilitate and coordinate technical records for aircraft parts replacement and cannibalization.
- Prepare Major Mod Reports and initiate Flight Authority applications on behalf of the Aircraft Maintenance Organization; ensure technical entries in LWO and HWO.
- Assist Maintenance Coordinator and Parts Planner with coordination of technical records for TCIs and component replacements in RAMCO.
- Provide guidance and training to maintenance technicians on technical entries to minimize errors in log entries.
- Support technician training on RAMCO.
- Follow up on maintenance documents and technical records to ensure maintenance control.
- Perform related duties as assigned by supervisor and maintain compliance with all company policies and procedures.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in an aircraft maintenance organization.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a technical clerk.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
- Excellent computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook).
- Ability to learn and work in a maintenance ERP system (RAMCO).
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
- Ability to work independently and carry out assignments to completion within prescribed instructions and routines.
- Ability to perform all work in support of our Corporate Values of Excellence, Service, Integrity, Together.
- Must be able to talk, listen and speak clearly on telephone.
- Ability to work in front of a computer on the hangar floor.
- Ability to work in different environmental conditions (warm, cold).
- Travel may be required.
- May be required to work beyond normal hours to meet operational requirements.
Employees are responsible for:
- Working in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety acts and regulations.
- Following safe work practices and procedures and using safeguards and personal protective equipment.
- Reporting hazards to their supervisor immediately.
Position requires Level II clearance with the Canadian Government and the ability to gain access to the Canadian Controlled Goods Program.
