Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing:
- Assist with the design and development of high-voltage substations and electrical infrastructure projects.
- Support the preparation of engineering drawings, layouts, schematics, and design documentation.
- Perform basic engineering calculations and technical analyses under the guidance of senior engineers.
- Assist with equipment research, specification development, and selection activities.
- Participate in design reviews and interdisciplinary coordination meetings.
- Support protection and control, physical layout, and electrical system study activities.
- Review technical specifications, engineering standards, and project requirements.
- Assist project teams during engineering, procurement, and construction phases as needed.
- Contribute to engineering quality initiatives and continuous improvement efforts.
- Complete assigned technical tasks while gaining exposure to industry best practices and engineering processes.
The company is looking for:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Preferred standing as a Junior or Senior (3rd or 4th year student).
- Basic understanding of power systems and electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Familiarity with AutoCAD, Micro Station, or other engineering design software is a plus.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to learn quickly and work effectively in a collaborative environment.
