Sprayer Operator – Kent Farms

Location: Vitacress Kent, Ramsgate

Salary range: Competitive

Shift pattern: 5 day week based on Farm Rota, hours will be variable - longer during peak season.

Contract type: Permanent

You’ll be at the heart of growing the freshest, highest-quality salads and herbs. As our Sprayer Operator, you’ll make sure crops get exactly what they need—precise applications of fertilisers and crop protection products that keep them healthy and thriving.

You’ll take ownership of spraying operations, maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with environmental and safety standards. You’ll keep our chemical store and equipment audit‑ready, clean, and in top condition. You’ll monitor stock levels, plan ahead, and make sure everything runs smoothly—even when the weather throws a challenge your way.

You can do this because you’re skilled in crop protection spraying, detail‑driven, and confident using farm recording systems. You know your PA certificates (PA1, PA2, PA4S, PA6) and NRoSO registration inside out, and you’re committed to doing things right—every time.

You’ll also get involved in groundwork and other growing tasks, supporting the farm team to deliver exceptional results. You’ll bring ideas to the table, trial new technologies, and help us stay ahead in sustainable farming.
