By joining our teams as a Mechanical & Piping Prefabrication Supervisor, you will be working at one of our clients' sites.
In regards to the project, my client will manufacture few skids & cold box through a subcontractor workshop based in Italy.
As a member of the site team, the mechanical and piping prefabrication supervisor is primarily responsible for supervising all activities involved in the manufacturing of the skids & cold box.
He or she has3 key functions : to apply technical expertise, supervise and expedite the workshop & expedite the inspections with the different internal & external inspectors / client representatives.
Objectives and Deliverables
With a technical background, you ideally have at least 10 years of successful experience as a Mechanical and Piping Supervisor, including the installation of industrial equipment and piping systems.

General Responsibilities
Lead and support construction subcontractors on site, with a strong focus on safety, quality, and schedule compliance.
Manage interfaces between disciplines and between subcontractors.
Demonstrate solid technical expertise and leadership.
Coordinate with other site supervisors.
Site Supervision
Provide strong leadership regarding site safety.
Monitor subcontractor performance to ensure compliance with engineering and construction documents, as well as the project schedule.
Supervise and coordinate assigned personnel, including supplier representatives.
Organize regular meetings with subcontractors, set deadlines, define corrective actions, and issue minutes of meeting.

Job Description
Assess the performance and productivity of subcontractors.
Provide feedback based on technical expertise within your discipline.
Check subcontractors' construction equipment and plan their mobilisation/demobilisation.
Quality Control
Prepare inspection plans with assembly contractors and ensure their validation prior to construction activities.
In coordination with the project QA/QC Manager, prepare and validate all quality documents required for proper execution.
Ensure the quality of construction and installation works in accordance with contractual requirements.
Ensure that the installation of pressure vessels, skids, water towers, and piping systems fully complies with project drawings and specifications.
Coordinate the resolution of technical issues and problems.
Ensure missing documents and engineering materials are identified and provided.
Implement corrective and preventive actions for non-conformances.
Report quality defects and ensure their resolution.
Issue construction inspection reports in accordance with the ITP.
Review subcontractors' documentation and verify as-built documentation with them.
Progress Monitoring and Reporting
Provide reports on quantities, progress, and milestone achievements.
