Description We are seeking an audit professional to join our growing team. This role will help shape our audit quality through supporting our audit teams to drive continuous improvement.

• Development/updating of audit framework and policies & procedures including ISQM1
• Provide training in audit and related matters
• Technical support
• Manage & monitor Engagement Quality Review process
• Root cause analysis support
• Develop & implement training plan in response to issues identified through monitoring activities and technical queries
• Issue regular updates and signpost changes in standards and regulations
• Liaise with regulatory bodies and prepare annual return, notification of changes, RI applications and other matters
• Maintenance of registers including: audit clients, business interests, reporting to external parties
• Manage annual declaration process
• Maintain technical library
• Complete PII insurance form & liaise with insurers
• Support other areas of the team as required

• Member of a Recognised Accountancy Body
• Audit qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ post qualification experience in audit

• Strong knowledge of auditing standards, regulatory frameworks, ethical standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Capable of working on own initiative; take ownership of the role and be capable of making key decisions while also actively collaborating within the team
• A strong focus on attention to detail
• Excellent organisational and multi-tasking skills
• Committed to promoting a culture of compliance and continuous improvement in audit quality
