Automotive Service Advisor – Reading

Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per annum + Bonus (OTE circa £37,000)

Hours:

Monday to Friday - 8am to 5pm + 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings - 8am to Midday

My client is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Advisor to join a friendly, professional commercial vehicle workshop in Reading. Responsibilities As an Automotive Service Advisor, your role will include:

Handling customer calls and service bookings
Scheduling work to maximise workshop efficiency
Maintaining the vehicle service planner
Processing invoices and handling cash payments
Providing customers with updates on repair progress
Requirements The ideal Automotive Service Advisor will:

Have previous experience in a similar role within the motor industry
Be confident communicating with customers and the workshop team
Be computer literate, with knowledge of MS Office
Kerridge/ADP system experience advantageous but not essential
