Quantity Surveyor – Contract or Permanent

Role OverviewWe are looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to support capital and operational projects within a major infrastructure/utilities environment. You will provide commercial management across a range of projects, ensuring contractual compliance, accurate valuations, and strong commercial governance.
Key Responsibilities- Provide commercial support across capital and operational projects
- Manage projects from inception to final account
- Undertake site visits, measurements and valuations
- Complete tender analysis and evaluation
- Lead variation assessments and commercial negotiations
- Handle dispute resolution and contractual claims
- Manage and certify Applications for Payment (AFP)
- HND (or higher) in Quantity Surveying or related field
- Experience managing operational contracts (major project or multi‑site portfolio)
- Strong commercial and contract management knowledge (NEC desirable)
- Confident in negotiation and dispute resolution
- Excellent analytical and MS Office skills
- Full UK driving licence and own transport
