A fantastic opportunity has arisen with our client, a well-established business with over 30 years of experience in the design, manufacture, and installation of secret-fixed timber panel systems for large commercial projects. They have been at the heart of some of the most forward-thinking and technically demanding modern commercial projects in timber.

Their in-house design team provides the expertise to undertake bespoke panel designs, support architects with detailed design solutions, and deliver full panel layouts, detailed designs, and manufacturing drawings for every engineered system.

Due to expansion, our client now has an opportunity for a Revit Technician to join their team at the head office in Reading. The successful candidate will model products based on client designs, coordinate with adjoining trades, and assist with client requests. Designers work closely with the Design Manager to plan and manage projects effectively, on time, within budget, and to programme.

Responsibility & Duties

* Produce and maintain accurate BIM models and drawings.

* Coordinate project designs with adjacent trades as the Revit technician

* Produce detailed manufacturing drawings as the Revit technician

Experience & Qualification

* Strong skills in construction detailing using BIM Revit & AutoCAD are essential

* Background in construction, architecture, or engineering is essential

* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills as a Revit technician

* Curtain walling, Building Façade, Cladding, Timber wall, panel systems experience

* Architectural Technologist, Architectural Technician or construction engineering ideal

* Knowledge of Dynamo, Inventor, Solidworks, or Tekla is advantageous

* Ability to produce high-quality drawings as a Revit technician

* Portfolio of previous work
