Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer (Data Centre)
Stantec have an exciting opportunity for a Senior / Principal Electrical Engineer (Data Centre) to join our busy multidisciplinary Building Services team in London.

Responsibilities- Guide the technical design of projects as subject matter expert.
- Delegate tasks to engineers and designers; follow quality management process; maintain strong client relations; act as supervisor and resource to technical design team; supporting and assisting staff education and development.
- Conceptualise, execute, and ensure quality throughout the design process to meet our clients’ needs and expectations.
- Hold a degree in a relevant discipline such as Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or similar, and be Chartered with a relevant institution IET/CIBSE (or working towards Chartership).
- Proven track record in an M&E team ideally gained within a design engineering consultancy, specifically working within the Data Centre / Mission Critical sector.
- In depth knowledge and expertise in the design of electrical engineering services, including systems and equipment design, calculations and drawing production, and an understanding of design tools such as Revit and IES.
- Knowledge and understanding of the wider built environment and the associated design influences, coupled with understanding of the legislative environment including carbon emissions reduction and sustainability.
- Experience and appreciation of Technical Standards, planning policies and relevant British Standards and Building Regulations.
- Ability to liaise with a broad range of stakeholders, working closely with clients and other professional staff across multi-disciplinary business groups.
