Salary: £40,000 – £55,000 + benefits

We’re recruiting for a Project Engineer (Mechanical) to support major Thames Water projects with a tier 1 contractor. This is a key role where you’ll work closely with Project Managers to deliver schemes safely, on time, and within budget.

The Role

As a Project Engineer (Mechanical), you’ll be responsible for:

* Delivering mechanical requirements across multiple schemes.

* Working with designers, suppliers, and commercial teams.

* Overseeing offsite assembly, modularisation, and installation.

* Carrying out inspections, audits, and ensuring quality standards are met.

* Supporting a positive project culture and driving performance.

What You’ll Need to be a succesful Project Engineer

* Background in Mechanical and/or Civil projects within water/wastewater.

* CSCS card and SMSTS/SSSTS.

* HNC or equivalent in a relevant field.

* Strong organisational and problem-solving skills.

* Experience with MMC, Lean Construction, or similar is an advantage.
