Your responsibilities will include leading maintenance activities, ensuring tenant requests and PPMs are performed to company standards. If you're someone who is a strong leader and has a solid background in building services, don’t miss this opportunity.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on maintenance activities, ensuring tenant requests and PPMs are performed to company standards.
- Oversee hiring, training, and development of the engineering team (via supplier partners).
- Develop building maintenance standards in line with accreditations.
- Assist in procurement of utilities and manage occupier recharging.
- Lead the Net Zero in Operation strategy, reducing landlord MEP consumption.
- Manage MEP, vertical transportation, IT, and network consultants.
- Become the lead for the BMS application, ensuring efficient operation.
- Maintain and update the asset register and SOPs.
- Monitor supplier contract performance, SLAs, and KPIs.
- Conduct routine inspections of the building and contractor works.
- Maintain critical spare stock and establish a risk register with mitigation measures.
- Demonstrable experience in property management, hard FM, or engineering services (commercial offices focus preferred).
- Experience onboarding properties at practical completion and managing the defects / aftercare process.
- Comprehensive knowledge of building maintenance and compliance.
- Strong understanding of statutory and legal requirements (ideally with L8, IOSH, and/or working toward NEBOSH).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.
- A collaborative, team-player attitude.
- Flexibility to work varied schedules.
