Quantity Surveyor - M&E
AWE, Reading (Site-Based)
Contract:
Initial 6 Months
Up to £500/day (Umbrella PAYE)
Mon-Fri | 45 hrs/week
Start ASAP
We are seeking an experienced M&E-biased Quantity Surveyor to work on a major project at AWE, Reading, supporting a leading M&E contractor. This is a full-time, site-based role working from the site offices.
Key Responsibilities:
Commercial management of M&E packages
Cost control, forecasting, and reporting
Interim valuations, applications for payment, and final accounts
Managing variations and change control
Subcontractor procurement and commercial administration
Working within strict contractual and regulatory requirements
Requirements:
Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor on M&E packages
Experience working in highly regulated environments (nuclear, defence, pharma, data centres, hospitals, etc.)
Degree-qualified in Quantity Surveying or similar
Chartered (MRICS/MCIOB) desirable
Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills
Must be eligible for SC clearance (holding it already is advantageous)
Excellent opportunity to work on a high-profile project with a strong likelihood of extension
