RoleThe main element of the role as the new sales assessor is to assess patients so that they have the correct equipment bespoke to their specific needs and requirements.
80% Account Management.
As the new area assessor you will assess, promote and sell products including seating, slings, showering and toilet products mainly within the NHS.
Selling and assessing into the NHS, Community, Special Schools, Nursing Homes and a lot of communicating and softly selling to Occupational Therapists.
This is a very soft empathetic type of sale.
Expectation once you are up and running is to do 4 appointments a day.
Lots of training for the first 3 months shadowing other members of the team.
Covering Berkshire, North Hampshire, Surrey, London, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire - There will be a time when travel outside your patch will be required due to work loads.
Responsibilities- Assessment of patients for bespoke equipment.
- Promotion and sale of seating, slings, showering and toilet products.
- Account management and client relationship building within NHS and related sectors.
- Soft selling and communication with occupational therapists.
- Conduct at least 4 appointments per day once fully trained.
- Shadowing peers during initial 3 months of training.
- Travel across Berkshire, North Hampshire, Surrey, London, Oxfordshire, Buckinghamshire, Hertfordshire and occasionally beyond.
- Graduate in sports sciences or similar, or good anatomy knowledge.
- Independent self‑starter and hard worker.
- Desire to make a difference to the quality of someone’s life.
- Creative, willing to bring new ideas to the table.
- Customer facing experience required – patient assessments at home.
- Understanding of care homes or hospitals an advantage.
- Experience with a CRM system.
- Physiotherapist or Occupational Therapist considered for entry to medical sales.
- Physically fit.
- Computer literate with outstanding customer service skills.
- Valid driving licence.
- £25k‑£30k basic salary.
- £20k OTE (Uncapped).
- 24 days holiday plus bank holidays (annual leave increases each year up to 27 days).
