Employee Experience, ER & Policy Manager
Reading | Hybrid (3 days / week)
6-month contract

We’re hiring an experienced Employee Experience, ER & Policy Manager to lead individual and collective ER cases (grievance, disciplinary, sickness, in sourcing), while redefining HR policies and building manager capability. This role blends hands-on casework with strategic policy development and change leadership.
Key Responsibilities- Manage ER cases and coach managers through resolution
- Lead collective ER processes including in sourcing and structural change
- Redesign HR policies and contracts to reflect company behaviours and tone
- Ensure policies are clear, compliant, and aligned with best practice
- Communicate and embed policy changes, upskilling managers
- Enhance HR intranet with accessible tools and guidance
- Deliver training and e-learning for line managers
- Recommend models for ongoing HR / ER support
- Support wider People Strategy projects
