Architecture Governance Senior Manager

The Architecture Governance Senior Manager is responsible for establishing and maintaining enterprise‑wide architecture governance. This role involves defining architecture standards, processes, policies, and procedures, and ensuring the integrity and quality of the architecture. The manager collaborates with stakeholders to ensure compliance, alignment with business objectives, and continuous improvement of governance.
Key Accountabilities and Objectives- Establishment and maintenance of architecture governance:
Establish and maintain an enterprise‑wide architecture governance framework. - Ensuring the quality and integrity of the architecture:
Ensure that the architecture aligns with business objectives. - Collaboration with stakeholders:
Understand requirements related to architecture governance through communication with stakeholders and appropriately reflect them in the governance framework. - Promote the importance of architecture governance within the organization through education and training.
- Stay updated on the latest best practices in architecture governance and continuously improve the governance process.
- Establish, maintain, and improve enterprise‑wide architecture governance, architecture standards, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Regularly conduct appropriate architecture reviews to ensure alignment with business objectives. Identify areas for improvement and make necessary adjustments.
- Engage in regular communication with stakeholders to understand requirements related to architecture governance and incorporate them into the governance framework. Identify related issues and develop and implement solutions.
- Provide educational programs on architecture governance to promote stakeholder understanding of the subject.
- Stay updated on the latest best practices in architecture governance.
Senior (5-10 years).
Essential Skills, Experience and Qualifications- A bachelor's degree or higher is required. Preferably a degree in information technology, computer science, business administration, or a related field.
- 5-8+ years of practical experience in architecture governance.
- Practical experience in designing and managing architecture standards, processes, policies, and procedures.
- Strong understanding of enterprise‑wide architecture design principles, governance, and best practices.
- Experience using major Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High ethical standards when handling confidential information.
- TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework) and related certifications are preferred.
- Ability to efficiently manage and prioritise multiple tasks and schedules.
- Ability to quickly respond to various challenges and identify appropriate solutions.
