RoleThis role forms part of the Service Strategy & Performance team that designs, develops and delivers a tooling‑aligned Service Management framework, focused on enhancing the end‑to‑end service value chain (‘the digital experience’) in line with ITIL and SIAM industry best‑practice. The IT Service Architect plays a key role in establishing the Service Management architectural standards, guardrails and guidelines for IT Services across the enterprise, linking together multiple elements of the service value chain and collaborating with stakeholders across the organization.
Youwill
- Lead the development of Service Management architectural standards for IT Services, collaborating with enterprise stakeholders to define, design and implement effective service‑delivery standards across the full service lifecycle.
- Link together elements of the service value chain—Service Design, Service Continuity Management, Availability Management, Capability and Performance Management, Risk Management, Service Catalogue Management, Service Configuration Management, Service Level Management, Portfolio Management, Service Financial Management—creating a target architectural model and phased implementation roadmap.
- Govern IT Service Management standards, assuring designs against required standards, managing design issues, and reporting on adherence and risk.
- Support vendor integration and onboarding, designing standards and processes that integrate services and suppliers into the wider service management ecosystem, enabling a unified dashboard experience.
- Advocate and support Service Architecture with stakeholders, facilitating community of practice sessions and providing guidance to Product, Architecture and Service Delivery teams.
- Ability to understand long‑term business strategy and short‑term operational perspectives.
- Deep knowledge of Service Architecture & Service Design components.
- Understanding of Service Management frameworks and SIAM principles.
- Familiarity with Service Management data models and taxonomy (e.g., CSDM, TBM) and tooling (e.g., Service Now).
- Effective challenge/issue resolution skills with a positive and flexible attitude.
