About

The Role And The Team

Achieve the strategic, financial and customer satisfaction objectives for the given product(s). As the overall product lead for the Total Airport Management product line within the Airports Business Unit, this role owns strategy, roadmap and delivery, shaping revenue and profit growth in line with SITA strategic plans and managing performance of the product line throughout its full life cycle.

What You Will Do
  • Product Long‑ & Short‑Term Roadmap – develop and drive a clear product roadmap for airport/operations use cases, balancing short‑term delivery with longer‑term strategic goals and agreed operational/platform KPIs, securing buy‑in from internal and external stakeholders.
  • Product Lifecycle & Performance Management – own and run the full lifecycle of the product from concept and discovery through launch, scale and retirement, using operational, platform and customer metrics (e.g. performance, availability, incident trends, NPS/CSAT) to guide prioritisation and lifecycle decisions.
  • Stakeholder Management – build strong relationships with airport customers, internal product/engineering teams and other stakeholders, aligning priorities, communicating progress and resolving conflicts.
  • Product Discovery & Requirements Management – lead discovery and translate customer and operational needs into clear, prioritised requirements and user stories for delivery teams, covering both functional and non‑functional aspects.
  • Squad Mission, Backlog & Execution Leadership – translate product vision and roadmap into clear quarterly and sprint goals for the product squad(s), provide day‑to‑day leadership to cross‑functional members (engineering, design, QA, Dev Ops), and own backlog prioritisation to align with business value, customer needs and technical constraints.
  • Customer‑ & Data‑Led Delivery & Improvement – embed customer insights, usage data and feedback loops into squad decision‑making, fostering a culture of experimentation, continuous improvement and modern Agile/Dev Ops practices.
  • Alignment Between Product Strategy and Technical Implementation – work closely with the Senior Architect and platform/vendor leads to balance product ambitions with technical feasibility, debt management and platform evolution.
  • Service Management & Operational Readiness – work with service and operations teams to define SLAs and support models, ensuring the product is reliable, performant and supportable in live airport environments.
  • Product Marketing, Go‑to‑Market & Pre‑Sales Support – partner with product marketing and sales to shape value propositions, positioning and go‑to‑market plans, and support pre‑sales, customer engagements, events and bids as required.
  • Supplier, Risk, Dependency & Release Management – manage key vendor and partner relationships where third‑party components are part of the platform, identify and mitigate delivery risks and cross‑team dependencies, and coordinate release planning with operations, service readiness, support and marketing to ensure smooth deployment and adoption of new digital features.
Qualifications
  • Significant experience (typically 8+ years) in senior product management, including owning strategy, roadmap and delivery for complex digital products or platforms across multiple teams and stakeholders.
  • Experience establishing and scaling new product lines or capabilities, from initial discovery and MVP through to multi‑stakeholder adoption and ongoing iteration.
  • Experience in the Air Transport…
