Responsibilities

  • Create a Project Management Plan based on CHAMP Project Management Methodology detailing objective, scope, assumptions, dependencies, risks, project life cycle broken down into work packages, deliverables, key milestones, high‑level plan, and governance structure.
  • Create project plans according to the defined CHAMP methodology to minimize risks and issues and maximise chances of success.
  • Manage the successful delivery of the project from initiation to closure against the agreed plan and scope.
  • Manage project deliverables ensuring they meet quality standards, are on time and within budget, in accordance with the plan and overall project objectives.
  • Track progress of activities and deliverables to ensure timely completion at required quality levels.
  • Obtain customer acceptance of deliverables and conduct a customer satisfaction survey at project end.
  • Monitor progress, take mitigation actions to avoid risk triggers, and recover if risks occur.
  • Manage and validate all scope changes within the CHAMP project governance structure.
  • Raise change requests as required and obtain appropriate approvals in line with governance.
  • Represent the project externally and internally by communicating status to the customer and CHAMP governance.
  • Produce regular, accurate progress reports and present status to Project Review Boards.
  • Document all project meetings to reduce miscommunication risk and ensure traceability of decisions.
  • Manage and deploy CHAMP resources, customer and joint project teams, and contributors according to project requirements for successful delivery.
  • Manage the customer to ensure fulfilment of obligations.
  • Manage 3rd‑party suppliers, ensuring delivery to time, quality and budget.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction throughout the project life and support the Account Manager in meeting CHAMP’s commercial objectives and relationship development.
  • Ensure effective transition to CHAMP Global Operations Centre and other stakeholders and conduct a lessons‑learn review.
  • Ensure proper handover to the CHAMP Service Manager at project end.
  • Follow the project closure process and ensure lessons learned are completed, providing input into CHAMP’s continuous improvement process.
  • Contribute to the overall evolution of the Global Project Delivery team.
Qualifications
  • Formal project management training and certification; PMP certification recommended.
  • Successful delivery of two or more medium (EUR 1 m+) mission‑critical projects with full budget control.
  • Competence in project management tools and MS Office.
  • Proven track record in delivering complex, wide‑ranging projects on time.
  • Proven experience in scope, time, cost, risk, customer, stakeholder, 3rd‑party, quality and procurement management.
  • Proven commercial understanding, with ability to manage subcontractor relationships.
  • Understanding of the software development lifecycle, IT infrastructure and architecture is an asset.
  • Flexible, dynamic, and creative mindset.
  • A hands‑on problem solver with excellent communication skills.
  • Client‑oriented with strong focus on quality and efficiency.
  • Well‑established organization, multitasking and prioritization skills.
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written) mandatory; fluency in other languages an asset.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Management, Business Engineering, IT Engineering or similar.
  • Ideally 5 years in a SaaS solutions provider environment with knowledge of CHAMP‑like products and underlying technologies.
  • At least 5 years demonstrable track record in managing customer‑facing implementation projects.

The selected candidate may be required to provide an up‑to‑date (not older than 3 months) criminal record certificate. The successful candidate will also have to comply with CHAMP Security Requirements, including but not limited to CHAMP’s IT Security Policies, ISMS Policy, Acceptable Use Policy, mandatory courses, confidentiality and data protection, use of company assets, and incident reporting.
