We are currently supporting a company that is looking to bring a Customer Services Advisor into their technical support team.

This role plays a key part in assisting global customers with a range of after-sales queries, including operational challenges. It's ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, working collaboratively, and delivering excellent service.

Customer Services Advisor

Hours

Monday-Friday, 7:45am - 5:00pm

Pay

£13.50-£14.50 per hour (holiday accrued) - approx. £27,000 per annum

Location

Reading

Key Responsibilities
  • Respond to technical calls and emails from international customers and internal teams.
  • Use the company knowledge base to provide effective solutions.
  • Process and track warranty claims; create import/export documentation and licences.
  • Maintain accurate information in the CRM system.
  • Support stock rotation and management in the warranty warehouse.
  • Track outsourced repairs.
  • Participate in team meetings, exhibitions, and installation events.
  • Maintain a clean, safe workspace and follow all health & safety procedures.
  • Ensure products comply with regulations and are correctly labelled.
  • Promote equal opportunities and maintain a respectful working environment.
Person Requirements
  • Ability to troubleshoot basic technical issues.
  • Confident communication skills, especially over the phone.
  • Familiarity with Windows and MS Office.
  • Strong teamwork, organisational, and problem‑solving skills.
  • GCSEs in Maths and English (Grade C / Level 4 or equivalent).
  • Self‑motivated, resilient, reliable, and results‑driven.
  • Excellent time management and punctuality.
