Part-time Digital Development Coordinator – Reading Students’ Union

Location:

University of Reading, Whiteknights Campus, Reading, Berkshire

Contract:

Permanent /part time 21 hours a week (0.6 FTE)

Pro rata salary £16,034.87 (based on full time equivalent of £26,724.79)

The Role:

Digital Development Coordinator

, and digital platforms
, making them engaging, accessible, and future-ready. You’ll shape online journeys, deliver SEO strategies
, and explore new digital innovations that keep us ahead of the curve.

What You’ll Do
  • Maintain and optimise the Students’ Union website and app – keeping them running smoothly and looking sharp.

  • Manage CMS, CRM, and email marketing systems.

  • Deliver SEO strategies and digital marketing campaigns.

  • Design intuitive online pathways for students to access resources, services and events.

  • Analyse engagement metrics and produce actionable reports.

  • Troubleshoot technical issues and support staff with digital systems.

What We’re Looking For
  • Experience managing websites, CMS, CRM, or digital platforms.

  • Strong technical skills and proficiency with Microsoft 365.

  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.

  • Clear communicator and team player.

Desirable:
  • Degree or equivalent experience in digital systems, IT, or marketing.

  • Experience in education, charity, or student-focused environments.
