Joseph Stannah founded the business in 1867. The company has grown into a global business with a family still involved in the run. We are most known for our stairlifts and offer lifts, escalators, and home lifts, plus maintenance and repair services.

Location: Reading and Slough

Salary: Up to £61,000 (incl OTE) based on skills and experience level.

Working hours: 08:00 – 16:45 Monday – Thursday, 08:00 – 15:45 Friday

• Conduct maintenance, repair and call‑out visits on lifts and stairlifts.
• Ensure high‑quality service and safety standards.
• Perform effective risk assessments and keep site log cards.
• Participate in on‑call rota, receiving additional standby allowance and call‑out payment.

• NVQ Level 3 in Lift Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience as a Lift Engineer.
• Valid UK driving licence.
