Equans is hiring a permanent, full‑time Mobile Water Treatment Technician (Tier
2) in the South of England. The role covers Reading and Hampshire, London and the South East.

• Represent EQUANS Water Compliance as a Water Treatment Technician to deliver all Water Treatment services across the South and South East of the UK.
• Execute Tier 1 duties: temperature monitoring, shower head descaling, cold‑water storage tank inspections & cleans, cooling tower clean and disinfection, TMV servicing, water sampling.
• Carry out Tier 2 duties in addition to Tier 1: dosing of inhibitor and biocide, LTHW systems testing and analysis.
• Perform scheduled PPM visits using appropriate tools and systems.
• Maintain site L8 logbooks as the Primary Technician to ensure up‑to‑date records.
• Complete work reports via day‑works sheet or Planon in a timely manner.

• City & Guilds or NVQ equivalent qualification relevant to the appropriate Tier grading.
• Post‑qualification experience.
• Comprehensive knowledge of technical regulations – Water Supply Regulations/Byelaws, L8 ACOP, HSG
  274 and other relevant guidance.
• Fault diagnosis and resolution experience.
• Valid driving licence.
• DBS Enhanced with Barred Lists – ability to pass is essential.
