ResponsibilitiesAs a bailiff you will play a vital role in the UK’s justice system, dealing with people in challenging circumstances and delivering court documents to homes and businesses. You will manage your workload, maintain professionalism, and apply the following behaviours:

- Communicating & Influencing
- Full UK driving licence and willingness to use a lease car after probation (UK driving licence required).
- Excellent communication skills, able to adapt quickly, calm, empathetic and non‑judgmental.
- Comfort with IT and court case management systems.
- Capability to work full time (37‑hour week) and manage changing plans.
- Commitment to equality and diversity.
- £2,000 per annum bailiff allowance (role specific, non‑pensionable).
- Fuel allowance, full PPE and safety training.
- Annual leave 25 days at appointment, increasing to 30 days after five years.
