EC&I Construction Manager

Overview

Superior Recruitment Group are working with an exciting client based in Reading who are looking for an EC&I Construction Manager to join their team until 23 / 12 / 2025. This role is a contract position and is outside of IR35.

• Support the Project Manager as required, ensuring the project is managed effectively and efficiently.
• Demonstrate Safety Leadership, delivering the programme safely and ensuring all EHS&Q requirements are met.
• Oversee / assure project progress including timely and accurate reporting.
• Build effective project teams and manage resources, ensuring adequate levels to meet programme demands and maintain high workforce productivity throughout.
• Identify key project risks, blockers and opportunities and take action to address.
• Assess programme of work for viability, priority and required resources to maximise the success of the programme.
• Ensure suitable commercial control is in place and managed according to client procedures.
• Manage the performance of key suppliers and subcontractors, ensuring appropriate commercial arrangements are applied.
• Own interrelationships across project schedules and take actions to address risks.

• Experience delivering projects in a highly regulated industry.
• HNC / HND or similar in a relevant field (preferably electrical).
• Project Management qualification (preferred).
• Must be eligible to obtain SC clearance as a minimum.
• Strong, demonstrable understanding of all phases of a project life cycle.
