TIG Welder​/Fabricator

Overview

Syntech Recruitment are currently working with a long standing client that are looking to expand their team and recruit for a TIG Welder. The ideal candidate will be proficient in TIG welding, particularly using stainless steel, and capable of producing high-quality, precision products from detailed engineering drawings. This role involves occasional on-site work to fit or modify products, catering to industries such as pharmaceuticals, breweries, and food production.

• Performing TIG welding, primarily on stainless steel, with occasional work on mild steel, aluminum, brass, copper, and exotic materials.
• Producing precision products to high standards from intricate engineering drawings and specifications.
• Engaging in occasional site work for fitting or modification of products across sectors like pharmaceuticals, breweries, and food production.
• Collaborating within a talented team in a well-equipped workshop environment to deliver superior craftsmanship.

• Proven experience with TIG welding, with a focus on stainless steel.
• Ability to meet tight tolerances and maintain high precision standards.
• Strong confidence in reading and executing detailed technical drawings.
• Pipe fitting experience and familiarity with the pharmaceutical, brewery, or food production sectors are highly desirable.
• Additional experience with polishing, sheet metalwork, and pattern development is a plus, though training can be provided.
