Shift Engineer - Multi-skilled (Electrical or Mechanical Bias)
 
 Basic from £45,000 - £47,000 / 42.5hr working week / 20 days holiday / Free parking / Training

We are looking for a highly versatile, professional, and self-motivated electrical mechanical engineer to join our dedicated engineering team. You'll play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of a busy industrial laundry facility, ensuring equipment is running efficiently and downtime is kept to a minimum. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and is keen to take on a hands-on role with long-term career prospects.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all planned maintenance in line with the site maintenance schedule
Respond quickly to breakdowns, carrying out repairs to minimise downtime
Ensure all work is carried out in line with current Health & Safety legislation and safe systems of work
Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors and management  Essential skills/qualifications:
 
A multi-skilled engineer with either an electrical or mechanical bias
NVQ Level 3 or 4 in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
18th Edition (for electrical bias)
Steam, gas or boiler qualifications (e.g. BOAS, COCN1) - an advantage
Experience in a high-volume, fast-paced production or manufacturing environment
Fault finding with strong attention to detail
Background in laundry, FMCG or similar industries preferred but not essential  Benefits Package:

5hr working week
4 on 4 off shift patter - 2 days / 2 nights / 4 off
Available overtime paid at your flat rate
