Grant Writer
Smart Works Reading is a transformative charity empowering women to achieve economic independence. We provide high‑quality interview clothes, personalised styling advice, and one‑to‑one interview training to women in need, boosting confidence, professional appearance, and job interview success.
Responsibilities- Secure funding to support clothing inventory, training programmes, outreach, technology, and operational costs.
- Draft, edit, and submit grant proposals to foundations, government agencies, and corporate partners.
- Collaborate with program staff to gather data, outcomes, and budget needs.
- Track grant deadlines, reporting requirements, and compliance.
- Proven experience in grant writing and fundraising for non‑profit organizations.
- Strong research, writing, editing, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Knowledge of the non‑profit funding landscape is a plus.
