Assistant Gardener

This leading award winning Landscaping contractor client is seeking an experienced and passionate Assistant Gardener to join the team full-time working on a 100 acre high spec residential site.

As the successful candidate you will have a good level of horticultural knowledge for the ongoing care and maintenance of beautifully designed, high-end private site in the Reading area.

Key Responsibilities:

· Carry out regular maintenance tasks including pruning, weeding, feeding, seasonal planting, and pest/disease control

· Use and maintain gardening tools and machinery safely and efficiently

· Ensure all works are conducted safely and respectfully

· Work collaboratively and professionally with team members

Requirements:

· Minimum 1- 2 years’ experience in garden maintenance (estates preferred)

· Good plant knowledge and strong horticultural skills

· Proactive, reliable, and detail-oriented

· Able to work well independently and as part of a small team

· Good communication

· Physically fit and prepared to work in all weather

· UK driving license preferred (not essential)
