A fast-growing energy infrastructure developer is looking for a proactive and commercially minded Property Manager to join their expanding development team. This is a pivotal role supporting the delivery of a large and growing portfolio of projects across multiple technologies—including battery storage, flexible generation, solar, and grid‑stability schemes.

If you bring strong property expertise and experience navigating land rights within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors, this is an opportunity to directly influence some of the most exciting projects shaping the UK’s future energy system.

The Opportunity

As Land/Property Manager, you will oversee all property-related activities across the lifecycle of energy infrastructure projects. You’ll work closely with landowners, community stakeholders, engineers, legal teams, DNOs, and TOs to ensure smooth acquisition, negotiation, and management of land and property rights.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys autonomy, thrives on relationship building, and wants to be part of a high‑growth organisation driving meaningful change in the UK energy landscape.

Key Responsibilities
  • Secure land rights, easements, leases, wayleaves, access agreements, and other property consents.
  • Manage all property interactions with DNOs, TOs, and statutory undertakers.
  • Support site identification, assessment, and acquisition for new energy projects.
  • Oversee property due diligence, ensuring risks and obligations are clearly understood.
  • Coordinate property matters through development, construction, and operational phases.
  • Work closely with development, engineering, and legal teams to align property agreements with commercial and technical requirements.
  • Monitor and manage property-related risks throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Support financing processes, including securing Direct Agreements and documentation.
  • Build and maintain strong long‑term relationships with landowners and community stakeholders.
  • Conduct rent reviews and ongoing engagement with existing landlords.
  • Represent the business professionally during negotiations, meetings, and site visits.
  • Maintain accurate property records, agreements, and land obligations.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and planning-related requirements.
Skills & Experience
  • Proven property management or land acquisition experience within the energy, utilities, or infrastructure sectors.
  • Strong understanding of land rights, easements, leases, access agreements, and property due diligence.
  • Experience engaging with DNOs, TOs, or statutory undertakers.
  • Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple property matters across a diverse project portfolio.
  • Strong organisation, communication, and commercial awareness.
  • Knowledge of UK property law, utility regulations, and planning processes.
  • Degree in Property, Real Estate, Land Management, or a similar/related field.
  • Highly organised and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Strong communicator with the ability to build trust quickly.
  • Commercially aware with good decision-making skills.
  • Proactive, adaptable, and solution-focused.
  • Able to take ownership and see tasks through to completion.
  • Comfortable travelling nationally when required.
Why Apply?
  • Work on high-impact projects shaping the future of UK energy
  • Join a fast-growing organisation during a period of major expansion
  • Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary, ambitious development team
  • Opportunities for career progression and increased responsibility
