Post-doctoral Ecological Modeler

Location:

UK Milton Park (preferred). Candidates in other Corteva offices may also be considered.

• Develop new ecological models and run existing models to support risk assessment and development of crop protection products.
• Provide global ecological modeling reports for regulatory agencies and interface with regulatory agencies.
• Contribute as a member of multiple product teams in a collaborative, team environment.
• Develop robust communication strategies and implement effective communication methods to inform and influence.
• Effectively utilize organizational networking to influence decision making.

• A Ph.D. in Ecological Modeling, preferably related to the agrochemical industry.
• Strong scientific background and critical thinking skills, applying scientific principles to regulatory sciences and risk assessment.
• Demonstrated teamwork and leadership abilities to manage and coordinate multiple projects and chemistries.
• Ability to creatively address complex risk assessment challenges in a timely and effective manner.
• Strong written and oral communication skills to disseminate complex technical issues in a clear, concise manner to scientific and non-scientific audiences.
• Keen interest in working in a dynamic, exciting industry and applying scientific information for protection of the environment.
• High level of English proficiency.
