Position SummaryReports to:
Food service Customer Business Manager. Main account: manage portfolio of Independent Food service / Wholesale accounts in a highly competitive marketplace while supporting Buying Group Food service Accounts. Accountable for growth, share, revenue and profit across Pepsi Co brands. Full autonomy in day-to-day support and reporting. Region:
South, Bristol Area. Travel 75%. Company car provided.
- Support delivery of Snacks & Nutrition AOP across Food service channel (measured by , /KG, MC & Share)
- Execute sub channel “customer value offers” (CVO) with your accounts, sales executive and tele-sales teams.
- Deliver sustainable growth across all business units in the RTM channel through the executions of key National and locally agreed promotional plans.
- Execute the RTM strategy, working across a diverse customer base with the aim of growing core business and expanding brand footprint.
- Day-to-day account responsibility for Region Four – South Food service territory including implementation of JBPs, delivering CPIs and landing key growth initiatives with objective of market share growth.
- Build key working relationships ensuring a world-class customer engagement route-to-market partnership.
- Work alongside New Business team to identify new business leads delivering incremental opportunity across Pepsi Co brand portfolio.
- Co‑create best practice and contribute to sub‑channel strategies and playbooks.
- Collaborate with finance to build commercial proposals delivering profitable NRR.
- Implement & execute Pepsi Co brand campaigns through account media plans including brochure & digital activation.
- Own RTM scorecard components, tracking and course correction with customers and depots.
- Set up and support Trade shows and customer RARA days.
- Manage cross‑functional relationships internally and externally to devise, improve and implement a sales plan to improve PUK & external customer joint businesses.
- Previous wholesale account management experience.
- Success in a commercially challenging role.
- Ability to build internal & external relationships.
- Commercial awareness of PUK & Customer P&L.
- Strategic thinking.
- Strong drive for results in an entrepreneurial culture.
- Influencing and negotiation skills to drive agenda within customer, end users and Pepsi Co environment.
- Autonomous leadership of customer management & engagement.
- Well‑developed analytical skills, combined with strong IT skills, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experienced and proven organisation and prioritisation skills.
