Relief Security Officer

Location:

Wokingham, Berkshire.

Pay Rate: £12.60 per hour, minimum 8 hours per week.

Shifts:

12 hour shifts with no set pattern, including days, nights, weekends and bank holidays.

SIA Licence:
Security Guarding or Door Supervisor required, CCTV licence desirable – training provided.

Driving licence and own vehicle: desirable but not essential.

• Safeguard people, property, and assets on site.
• Act in accordance with Assignment Instructions and Client Service Level Agreements.
• Maintain confidentiality and professional conduct at all times.

• Comply with all policies, legal, and statutory requirements.
• Follow Assignment Instructions and improve service where possible.
• Wearing front‑line licence at all times during duties and completing any required training.
• Report incidents, health & safety hazards, and client emergencies promptly.
• Keep accurate incident notes and complete incident reports.

• Complete mandatory and competency‑based training.
• Renew SIA licence 16 weeks before expiration.
• Engage in additional training opportunities for self‑improvement.

• Experience:
  
  Proven background in the security industry.
• Licensing:
  Valid SIA licence (Security Guarding or Door Supervisor). SC clearance highly desirable.
• Background checks:
  Fully checkable 5‑year work/residence history within the UK.
• Skills:
  
  Strong attention to detail, excellent verbal and written communication, initiative.
• Professionalism:
  Calm under pressure, dependable, confident in decisions.
• Flexibility:
  Willingness to work differing shifts, including days, nights, weekends.
• Technical confidence:
  Comfortable using IT systems, email, phones, client platforms.
• Teamwork:
  Capable of independent work while supporting team and client.
