We are looking for an experienced Test Automation Engineer to join our team.
ResponsibilitiesAs a Test Automation Engineer, you will design, build, and run automated tests that ensure our software is reliable, high-quality, and user-ready. You’ll partner with Developers, Quality, and Business Analysts to define testing needs, create scalable test scripts, and continuously improve how we test and deliver products.
Qualifications- Strong expertise in C# and .NET for building and maintaining automation frameworks and test scripts.
- Solid understanding of Azure-based microservices architecture, including APIs, messaging patterns, and distributed system interactions.
- Ability to learn and adapt to newer niche technologies like the Unite framework and integrate them into automation testing.
- Appetite for continuous technology innovation, identifying and evaluating new opportunities to enhance Guardian’s proposition and customer experience.
- Prior experience working in the UK Financial Services Industry, ideally Life and Pensions.
- Experience providing technical leadership on complex integration projects.
- Ability to work remotely with little management supervision.
- Willingness to support and, where necessary, coordinate the triage, identification, and resolution of complex production and non-production issues.
