Why you’ll love this role:- Starting at £18.15PH (increasing to £19.15ph after 12 weeks)
- Overtime paid after 8 hours at £25.25 (increasing to £27.25 after 12 weeks)
- Saturday £23.52ph (increasing to £24.52 after 12 weeks) Overtime paid after 8 hours at £25.25
- Sunday (flat rate) £26.25ph (increasing to £27.25 after 12 weeks)
- Bank holiday (flat rate) £34.42ph (increasing to £35.42ph after 12 weeks)
- Work for a reputable parcel distributor with clear, predictable night routes
- Opportunity to work long-distance, connecting key regional hubs
- Supportive team environment with regular communication and driver engagement
- Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently on scheduled night-time routes
- Follow detailed routing and scheduling to ensure timely parcel delivery and collection between hubs
- Manage loading, securing, and occasional unloading of freight including pallets, cages, and containers
- Conduct daily vehicle safety inspections and complete defect reports as required
- Handle shipment paperwork, scan consignments accurately, and maintain communication with dispatch teams
- Adhere to all relevant road safety and company policies to ensure compliance and safety
- Valid HGV Class 1 licence with a clean driving record
- Minimum of 1 year experience in driving role
- Ability to work night shifts consistently and reliably
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail for managing freight and documentation
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
