Position Overview

Chinook’s Edge School Division (CESD) invites applications for an experienced Accounting & Payroll Technician at our Division Office in Innisfail.

The Accounting & Payroll Technician supports both financial accounting and payroll processing functions for CESD. This role is streamlined to be manageable for one person, focusing on core accounting tasks, payroll data entry, and routine payroll support.

Responsibilities
  • Support financial accounting and payroll processing functions for CESD.
  • Perform core accounting tasks.
  • Enter payroll data and ensure accurate processing.
  • Provide routine payroll support to employees.
Qualifications
  • Diploma or certificate in accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, or a related field.
  • Experience with accounting and/or payroll processing.
