Your OpportunityOur Red Deer office is looking for an Intermediate Accountant to join the Assurance & Accounting team and own the following responsibilities:
- Effectively and efficiently handle audit tasks independently or within a team environment
- Efficiently prepare year‑end engagements and tax returns for clients in a variety of industries
- Perform audits on a variety of organizations, prepare working papers and financial statements per regulatory standards
- Build positive working relationships with clients and effectively respond to requests and suggestions
- Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues on an ongoing basis
- Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team

- You are in the process of pursuing your CPA designation
- You have 1-2 years of audit experience in the public accounting industry

- You are keen to develop further knowledge about the business, assurance and regulatory requirements of publicly‑listed entities and private businesses
- You value teamwork, client service, and quality in detailed work
- You display strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills
