Constructing Success is a service for job-ready Albertans looking to enter a construction career. Participants work one-on-one with a Job Coach to determine their individual needs and create an action plan to facilitate success in Alberta’s in-demand construction industry.
Constructing Success assists participants through the following:- Individualized Support
- Access to Short-Term Training
- Industry-Recognized Certifications
- Job Search Skills & Assistance/Direct Job Matching
You may be eligible to participate if you are:
- Currently unemployed or underemployed (20 hours per week)
- ‘Job-ready’, meaning you are not in need of extensive employment skills/training development
- Available for those aged 18 and older
- Designed to help job-ready Albertans enter a construction career immediately and to obtain full-time employment
- Short-term retraining and workforce adjustment
- Residential, Commercial, and Renovation Construction
- Infrastructure and Industrial Construction
- Project Management and Leadership in Construction
If you are currently unemployed and/or underemployed (20 hours per week), are between the ages of 18 and 64, and are job-ready (not in need of extensive employment skills training/development), Constructing Success may be the right fit for you.
