General Laborer​/Barn Worker - Meat Processing

Westfine Meats Inc. is currently hiring a Barn Worker/General Laborer at our meat processing plant. This position works Monday - Friday and weekends as needed. Shift end times may vary.

• Receiving and unloading lambs
• Assisting with moving lambs
• Accurate record keeping and data entry
• Sorting into appropriate receiving pens
• Ensuring humane and safe handling
• Working outdoors and in barn area
• Cleaning and maintenance
• Other duties assigned by supervisor or manager

• Attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable
• Physically fit (able to lift 50 lbs)
• Ability to work in varied conditions which may include heat, cold, loud noise, with use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment)
• Enjoy working on a team
• No formal education required

• Previous experience working with animal handling, feedlot industry (preferred not required)
• Education experience in agriculture
• Willing to learn
