We are seeking friendly and confident Security Professionals to work at various healthcare facilities in Red Deer, including hospitals, private clinics, long-term care facilities, and more. Our Healthcare managers work with employees to find positions and worksites that suit their lifestyles.
This position follows a 4 on, 4 off rotation, alternating between day and night shifts. Open availability with no restrictions is required.
Healthcare Security can be physically and emotionally demanding. Security Professionals provide support, empathy, customer service, and ensure public safety for healthcare staff, visitors, clients, and patients. Our industry-leading Healthcare managers provide 24-hour support, focusing on risk minimization and incident response with real-time guidance.
A day in the life of a Healthcare Security Guard:Your duties will vary depending on your worksite but generally include:
- Providing access control in and out of the facility and within restricted areas.
- Monitoring and responding to incidents, including those identified via cameras.
- Patrolling the facility to monitor risks such as unlocked doors, blocked entrances/exits, mechanical issues, hazardous materials, and security breaches.
- Responding to alarms and emergency calls.
- Investigating and reporting irregularities.
- Monitoring patient safety, documenting, and reporting incidents as required.
High School Diploma or GED.
