DUTIES:
Monitor patients to ensure safety and report any changes to security and/or nursing staffLog all incidents reported by hospital staff, physicians, patients or visitorsProvide exceptional customer service and respond to inquiries from the publicConduct foot patrols to prevent unauthorized entry and politely direct disruptive individuals to leave the premisesEnforce rules and policies and control access to the facilityWrite clear and comprehensive reports including daily activity reports and incident reportsUtilize two way radios and computer applications to communicate site activitiesREQUIREMENTS:
Ability to pass a security clearance and obtain a security license (a valid security license is required)Valid Standard First Aid Level C or willingness to become certifiedExcellent verbal and written English communication skills, including report writing.Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, professional demeanor and deportmentAbility to solve problems, make decisions and respond to emergencies under pressureDiscretion when handling confidential and private informationPhysical ability to stand, sit and walk for extended periods of timeHigh school diploma or equivalent and of legal ageHours: Saturday and Sunday —
07:00 to 15:00 / 15:00 to 23:00
This is a 2-week rotation alternating between day and evening shifts
