Location: Rimbey

Responsibilities will include:

  • Safely loading & unloading delivery trucks
  • Completing all shipping documents prior to departure
  • Communicating with driver and store staff regarding order status
  • Checking incoming materials against purchase orders and packing slips
  • Identifying & reporting discrepancies such as damages, shortages or incorrect items
  • Labeling, sorting and storing special order and stock items in designated locations
  • Assisting with cycle counts, stock rotation and correcting inaccuracies
  • Monitoring inventory levels and notifying Home Centre Manager of low stock or damaged goods.
  • Maintaining proper stacking, spacing & yard organization
  • Keeping products in assigned locations as per yard layout
  • Operating forklifts safely and efficiently
  • Following company safety policies
  • Performing daily equipment inspections and reporting issues immediately
  • Keeping yard area clean and organized
  • Accurate order fulfillment
  • Safe equipment operations
  • Keeping an organized, clean and efficient yard layout

    • We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently in a team environment

  • Positive, professional approach and attitude toward work, strong interpersonal skills

  • Previous retail experience would be an asset

  • Previous shipping/receiving experience would be an asset

  • Working knowledge of farm/agricultural products and building supplies is an asset

  • Ability to handle multiple demands at once while still providing excellent customer service

  • Sense of urgency

  • Commitment to cooperative values and principles, strong customer service
